This weekend was the big weekend to celebrate the fourth of July, but just because your week has begun doesn’t mean you can’t stay in the spirit. Chalking your hair, an easy DIY,  washes right out, so it’s color without the commitment. Chalk your locks for a fun night of fireworks and wash it out for when it’s time to head back to the office.

How to: It’s pretty easy. Twist ends and color with chalk. Blondes, don’t use water as it will stain hair for a few washes. Brunettes, wet those locks to pick up the color. Red heads, try it dry, then dampen locks if color isn’t taking. For the full 411 check out what The Beauty Department wrote. Side note: they used pastels, so if you’ve already got these art tools try it out.
