Summer, I sure will miss you. Thankfully you’ll be back again, but I always get a little sad at the end of the season. I honestly think about all the summery outfits I didn’t get to wear enough. I know I can’t be the only one that does that. I also mourn all the seasonal festivities coming to an end, both the ones I partook in and the ones I forgot to make time for (there are so many Philly beer gardens that I meant to visit — and some are still open, lucky me!). I also think about all the things that get me excited for the next season, and fall is my absolute favorite season so that’s really easy and gets me really hyped.
It’s almost time to bid summer adieu, but not quite yet. So I’m going to wear some summery styles and celebrate the end of the season. I’ll save my my pumpkin-spice-latte yearnings for when it’s officially fall.
{ Style Tips }
1. More is more, so embrace your theme. This dress is so girly and has a retro feel, so I played that up with cat-eye sunnies and a floral ring. You like? I do! 🙂 Some days I just feel like showing my girly-girl side.
2. Look for back details that hid the bra. The tie feature is thick enough to conceal what’s underneath.
3. Don’t overthink things. (That tip I need to remind myself of more often.) Seriously though, your mani doesn’t have to match your outfit and your jewelry tones don’t have to match either. So forget any old rules!
