This outfit is made up of a few of my favorites (what else is new?). You may recognize the tank top I’m donning. It made a cameo last month on the blog & to be honest, I wear it so much that it only seemed fitting to make it the Dare To Wear item for August. Besides it being super cute & comfy, it also has pockets! Plus it passes the “messy Jessie test” with flying colors. I just coined that term now. Translation = I can wear it, forget to hang or fold it, and it still looks fabulous and ready for another wear.

{ Style Tips }
1. Mix prints with ease by keeping one print subtle. The stripes on the tank top are tiny enough to allow the floral pants to shine without competing.
2. Elevate your outfit with accessories. These French terry pants + this tank top = super comfy. Therefore these pieces can easily be styled ultra casual, say with slip-on sneakers or flat sandals. A hat + wedges takes this look a whole different direction.
3. Don’t worry about an exact match. Who ever taught us as kids that our shoes, and bag, and jewelry, and everything else need to match perfectly was putting us in a fashion box. Nobody puts baby in a corner or a box, so forget it. Yes, these cropped pants have a purple hue in them. It may not be the exact shade of the top but it totally works. Trust your eye.
