Wearing all black is one trend that never goes out of style and works for so many situations. I pretty much wore this same outfit on New Year’s Eve (see it on Instagram), along with a blazer and baret for the ball drop.

How amazing is this necklace? It’s from the lovely Marlyn Schiff and glams up anything!

We slid my couch (weighs a ton!) and then styled the blank wall with the coffee table and a retro chair from my mom’s childhood.

{ Style Tips }

1. When in doubt, all black doesn’t let ya down. I often opt for this when I just don’t feel like thinking, am low on time, and/or want to look sleek and chic.

2. Open toes aren’t out of style, completely. It’s not warm where I am, but the rest of the outfit is. This gorgeous shoe glams it up.

3. Layer on a little jewelry. I love me some bling so for this look I took my new Marlyn Schiff Statement Necklace for a spin and rolled up my sleeves to show a few vintage bracelets from my Bling Babe line mixed with some blessing bracelets (linked in the showroom below).

4. Makeup bags can be clutches. If it’s cute, why not?  This bag is from a Sephora Favorite’s set as is the nail color and lip shade I’ve got on.

{DARE TO WEAR} a blog series dedicated to “dare to wear” the same thing three weeks in a row. If you’re gonna buy it, you better be able to wear it at least three ways, right? Each month a new item is featured and will be styled three ways over three weeks. Photos by Audrey Gallagher.
