One of the lovely producers from NBC Philadelphia’s The 10! Show is gearing up for engagement photos – exciting/stressful. What to wear? She wants to look classy, cover her upper arms (something so many of us look to cover), and needs it ASAP.

My advice: For this forever photograph don’t go trendy. Go with a classic style so when you look back you don’t look too dated. My suggestion is a wrap dress. They work for so many body types, hide camouflage problem areas, and highlight your assets – perfect for photos.

Here are my picks for wrap dresses on a skinny budget. May all the brides-to-be look fabulous in all your photos!!

Target had fabulous finds, but out of stock, so maybe some stores have a few.

Found this beauty at Old Navy, but it’s available only online (hate that!).

Tag: Women’s Tie-Front Wrap Dress, $29.50 at Old Navy (online only).

Tag: Annie Faux-Wrap Dress, $98.00 at Banana Republic.

This dress got some great reviews and actually fits better on real women. It doesn’t really hug the model the way it should. The sleeves are long, but I like how they show them rolled in the picture.

Here’s another option from Banana Republic. This color is on sale, but it there are neutral colors too, just at the regular price of $98.00.

This next dress isn’t technically a wrap dress, but it has a similar style and works for big busts.

Tag: Jones Wear Elbow Sleeve Dress w/Ruched Waist, Was $90.00, Sale $69.99 at JCPenney. Found another dress from JCP for the same price. Click here to view.

This next find is from Sears and I know, Sears doesn’t have the best rep for style. But trust me, they’re really getting their act together. Check it out.

Tag: Next Women’s Dress Jersey Wrap Black, $59.00 at Sears.

And if you’re looking to go a little more expensive Ann Taylor has some gorgeous wrap dresses.
