There are a bunch of amazing new products and upcoming events lately (especially in the wellness world). I’ve been eyeing a few wellness trends and they seem to also fall under style and beauty (aka everything I love).  Indulge in something fit, fashionable and fun — here are five new things to try this month.

1. The Body Shop’s Fuji Green Tea Body Care

We all have heard many times how green tea is just so good for us. I’m a huge fan of green tea – I drink it, eat it, and now I’m so about to put it on my face. The Body Shop recently launched their Fuji Green Tea Body Care line. These products are infused with whole green tea leaves from Japan, meaning they’re high in antioxidants and can replenish skin with moisture.

Try Fuji Green Tea Body Butter, $21.oo or Fuji Green Tea Body Lotion, $13.00

2. The Suja Juice Solution

Suja Juice is my favorite cold-pressed juice brand. When their founders, Annie Lawless and Jeff Church, came out with a book called The Suja Juice Solution, I obviously had to get it ASAP. The Suja Juice Solution features a weekly plan to help you improve mental focus, rid unhealthy cravings, and boost energy. It has advice on how to look and feel better through eating. I’d keep this as reading material to dress my coffee table and to have as a health and wellness reference.

The Suja Juice Solution is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indie Bound, Books a Million, and iTunes.

3. Lord & Taylor Launches Activewear Selections

Department store lovers…guess what?! Lord & Taylor added an activewear selection to cater to the growing fitness crowd. Currently, this selection is available online and is currently rolling out in stores too. They totally combined fitness and fashion (my favorite!). Some brands you’ll find are Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Danskin, Under Armour, FitBit, Beyond Yoga, and Nike. By scouring their website, it looks like the prices aren’t too bad either.

4. Athleisure Trend: The Anti-Gym Bag

If you’re on the go, dragging around a gym bag isn’t always so great. The athleisure trend has made sporty become chic. From slouchy and oversized totes, casual backpacks, trendy bucket bags, and easy-to-clean nylon totes…I’ve spotted five bags that can double as a gym bag.

5. Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Yoga On The Steps

Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Yoga On The Steps is a really fun experience for an amazing cause. They combine an outdoor yoga class, live music, and a Healthy Living Expo at iconic locations around the country to raise funds and awareness of LBBC’s programs and services. In Philadelphia, this event is held at the Philadelphia Art Museum steps. Now I probably don’t need to tell you this…but the view you get while doing yoga there is absolutely gorgeous!

Upcoming events are in Philadelphia (May 17, 2015), Kansas City (July 19, 2015) and Denver (September 20, 2015). See LBBC’s Yoga On The Steps website for more info on registering and donating.
