Big thanks to all you fabulous people reading this and special thanks to those of you that came out to celebrate #TrendHungryTurns4 at Smak Parlour! I still can’t believe it’s been 4 years! One thing is certain. Time will keep going, so it’s up to YOU what you do with it. This blog birthday has given me a chance to reflect on all that’s happened since launching. When I started on my Trend-Hungry way, I had no idea how much it would impact my life. It’s been a tool to brand myself. It’s given me the opportunity to show real girls and women that style is attainable and fun, not something to stress about. Thanks to this blog I’ve basically been able to make my own dream job. Don’t get me wrong, it’s so not perfect and looks far less glam without a Valencia filter on it, but it’s mine, I love it, and it’s always creative, different, and keeps me on my toes. I get to write articles for various outlets, team up with brands, host events, talk trends on TV and radio, style people, and help people feel good about themselves (it’s crazy how clothes can make such a difference with self image).
I’m so grateful for all the love and support. My journey and the journey of so many other inspiring bloggers and #girlbosses out there is what inspires me to keep going everyday. When I started this blog I was fresh out of college and the economy sucked (still does). This blog gave me an outlet, a tool, hope, something to put my energy towards. I had no idea it would open so many doors. I’m so grateful and will start paying it forward by adding more interviews with Trendsetters that inspire. Stay tuned for new things to come!
