This past weekend pretty much everyone on the planet got married, including Kim Kardashian & Kanye West. Unlike most couples, the celebration of their nuptials spanned days and countries, starting in France and finishing with a ceremony and reception in Italy. The whole Kardashian crew, which includes Kendall & Kylie Jenner, seemed to be in sync with their style for the entire trip. Everyone’s style was very Kim & Kanye-esque.
It’s no secret that Kim’s fashion sense was far more flashy pre-Kanye. Now, she’s more minimalistic and chic. You’re not staring at the outfit, but instead your attention in on how beautiful she looks. Less is more and it’s working for her. It seems the family may have followed her lead.
The Kim, Kanye & baby North seem to only wear neutrals. Their color scheme for clothing seems to consist of black, brown, gray, beige, and white. Jean and leather also fall into the neutral category, as does blush (worn only on occasion), navy, and cream.
Wear a monochromatic look or mix and match basics. The trend is slimming and chic.
E! online has a slew of pics of the Kim & Kanye wedding celebration. Take a good look and you’ll notice the Kardashian / Jenner/ West gang has really toned down their style and it suits them oh-so-well, don’t ya think?
This trend is so easy accessible and what I love about it is it’s not all about the labels. It also work on every body, age, skin tone, and really allows you to be the focal point, not the outfit.
Get yourself some cool basics on a skinny budget. Uniqlo has the hookup for wardrobe staples and the price point in on point. The Japanese retailer has a heavy assortment of neutrals on deck and has stuff for men, women, kids, and babies too. Grab a tee for you or your guy for $12.90.
