Happy fall y’all! Hope it’s been going extra fabulous for you. It’s not that life is perfect (is it ever?), but I’ve been feeling extra grateful lately. I’ve been doing gratitude practices on the regular for years and I truly believe that the more you do it, the more present you are, happy and attract more to be grateful for. I guess it’s pretty fitting that I’m talking about this, as it’s almost Thanksgiving!

Plus this autumn in PA is extra freakin gorgeous!! Seriously, I can’t even take it. I’ve been hiking lately with my gal pal Elise Ivy (you may know her from QVC or Beauty IQ) and I stop and say at least five time every hike “I can’t believe how beautiful it is!”

Fall is obviously my favorite, though I am almost always cold. So I layered up for my first trip to Terrain.

1. Outdoor activities call for major layers. I felt fine and my photog/fiancé was chilly. You can always take a layer off, but you can’t add one if you don’t have it with you.

2. Heat escapes from your head so get some ear coverage working. Hence the turban.

3. Boots with some leg coverage are super important on chilly days. Did I mention that these boots have a soft and cozy lining?

4. Sun in my eyes is a total buzzkill so don’t forget your sunglasses. Your skin will thank you later, as squinting doesn’t help fight off wrinkles.
