Before you go out and spend on a new wardrobe for fall take a deep breath and sit back, relax, and look at what’s already in your closet. A little unique styling can save you serious dough, not to mention stand out from the crowd.

Case and point, this photoshoot. Ask me how I went about pulling the looks.

Thanks for asking! I actually headed to my own closet. We shot about a month ago and I didn’t really know if I wanted to do summer or fall style, so I opted for transitional looks perfect for making your way into the next season. I made sure to incorporate layering and dark tones, two elements that slice the amount of summery the out of the looks. The shoot was outside and with a short window of time, so the crop top acted as a useful layer for quick changes.

Sure these two looks may not be ideal for November, but they’re meant for now. Ya know, it’s that in-between time, where one minute you’re in cutoff shorts and the next you need a jacket.
