Merry Christmas! This post is a little late due to some technical difficulties, but it’s better late than never. Aside from crying for an hour (I don’t deal well with technical difficulties) I had a fabulous holiday! I got to visit my parents. We had a white Christmas. My mom made my favorite meal – chicken parm, hers is seriously the best ever! And my family had a dance party in the kitchen with my boyfriend bringing the best moves, some Justin Timberlake-esque spins and fancy footwork.
Even though the holiday is technically over, let’s keep up the celebrations till January, cool? Good, because I haven’t had enough Christmas cookies, am likely to be snowed in within the next couple hours, and I want to share some holiday cheer with you.

What about some holiday laughs? You may have seen Jimmy Kimmel’s hilarious video of kids reactions to opening terrible presents last year. Well, Jimmy Kimmel did it again and these kids are just as funny.
Feel like treating yourself to a little somethin’ somethin’? I compiled some sale-rack items that greatly distracted me from my gift-giving duties. It’s okay to treat yourself if it’s on sale, seeing as you’re technically saving money, right (at least that’s what I tell myself).
How about a celebratory manicure? I call my DIY digits “pop the champagne”.
Curious to know what I wore this holiday? I know we all love a sparkly dress and stilettos, but my family tends to dress comfy and casual. I save those fancy pieces for parties, but for family time I want to be comfortable and chic. This year’s holiday uniform was my new City Ruffle Shawl from April Marin and her furry paw fingerless gloves. I’ve literally worn both of these pieces nonstop since the brand sent them my way, clearly I’m OBSESSED! I even wore the gloves while Christmas shopping, and they def attracted some positive attention. Oh, and if you want the shawl, you can snag it for half price with the code OK!
And if you must know, my sunnies are Nanette Lapore and are designed after actress Emma Roberts. They’re feminine with a vintage feel and my boyfriend had hunt to snag them for me for Christmas – I’m a lucky girl 🙂

Xo, you fabulous darling, you!
