The arrival of spring means one important thing: patterned pants. Floral, striped, baroque or abstract. They’re the perfect way to express a bit of your personality without having to try too hard. I bought my first pair of patterned pants last spring and they quickly became a staple in my closet. They were a pair of cropped floral pants from H&M. They were $15 and I got so many compliments on them. Some people are intimidated by patterned pants (myself included). Try ’em on, kick it around the house get comfortable in them, then rock the crap out of them. If you like it, wear it!
Check out these patterned pants on sale at Gap.
Each of these three pairs of too-cute cropped pants are now $32.99 a pop. My favorite style are the navy stripes. Pair with a polka-dot top and chunky, statement necklace if you’re feeling daring.
Style tip: Looking to add curves to your figure? Opt for the striped style to give the illusion of more curves.
The geo print would be pretty versatile. They’re understated enough that they’d look fabulous on any body type. Try with a cute jute wedge and a linen-blend tee to keep it casual, or a solid-color blouse to dress it up.
If you’ve got shorter legs, try the yellow color-block pants. With a lighter color on the bottom they give the illusion of longer legs. Rock with nude pumps to give yourself a bit of extra height.
Each of these pants were originally $55. You can grab them on sale now at the Gap for only $33 – that’s 40% off, and there are still tons of sizes left. Get shopping!
