There may be six more weeks of winter according to Punxsutawney Phil, but that shouldn’t stop you from springy shades. The color I’m currently craving is ultra-light pink, think ballet slippers or blush. Over the weekend I spotted a pair of jeans in the hue, then I wore a piece in the light and lovely color yesterday while shooting upcoming photos for this month’s Dare To Wear posts (disclosure: I usually take my all outfit pics for the month at once). Plus Valentine’s Day is right around the corner so this color is quite fitting to start wearing now to start transitioning into spring.
On my quest for fab finds for less in this color I couldn’t decide if I liked the more dusty-blush shades or ultra-light pink, so went with both. Jackets, bags, phone cases, and jean are just a few things that work well in a pretty pastel. It adds a feminine and fresh pop to dark outfits and also has a way of making you look tan.
