It’s fall. I’m thrilled! It’s only the best season for dressing. You can still rock warm-weather pieces on the hotter days, and enjoy layering up — my favorite. Here I’m happening to be wearing two shades I’m obsessed with for the season, olive + mustard.

{ Style Tips }

1. Roll up your sleeves. That simple styling trick will play up the layered look. More importantly, it makes the jacket feel less like outerwear and more like part of the overall outfit.  Don’t feel pressure to take it off when inside.

2. Sandals, still a DO in early fall, weather permitting. It’s called a transitional season for a reason. The temps are in the midst of changing. I’ve put away most of my sandals away and will continue to as it starts getting cooler, but have kept out a few pairs of open-toes styles that I can still get away with wearing with certain outfits.

3. Army green is a neutral, treat it as such. It also makes this lace dress feel more casual. This will be a combo I’m going to repeat.

This cuff is one of my favorites. My mom gave it to me as a gift when I was in college. I’ve had it for a while and like many of my other Lucky Brand pieces (I like their bags + shoes), the style + quality has held up. Here are some similar styles to the peacock cuff my mom got me as a gift when I was in college.

LOVE that color of yellow!

I may have asked before, but how do you feel about tights with open toe shoes/sandals? If done correctly, it can be pulled off!

I like it! It’s a do, but has to be done right.
