Dear life, you are meant to be lived so I am dressing for the occasion! I wore this dress, necklace, and earrings for a recent TV segment on Fox29 (see: the look on Instagram). I threw it together early that morning, right after moving, so all my stuff was/is a bit in disarray. To my surprise, this bold look got lots of love. Note to self: don’t be afraid to be different. That’s what makes us all unique. Dress like the special being that you are!

So here it is, and it’s the very first look shot at the aforementioned new place.

{ Style Tips }

1. The bolder, the better. The dress is a bit of a statement. A small, dainty accessory would get lost in the mix. The solution: other statement-worthy styles.

2. Break up a print with a vest. This dress was that item that I got, loved, but didn’t really know when to wear. When? Now, and whenever! The vest tones down the print and makes the look feel a little less dressed up and more for everyday life, which is the vibe I’m always going for.

3. More is more, but keep it manageable and versatile with a neutral color palette. Blingy accessories, a printed dress with lots of flow fabric, and a furry vest can seem like a lot, but notice the colors. There are colorful accents via the print on the dress and that gorgeous statement necklace.
