Sweater weather is just my style. I’m all about the cozy-cool layers. This look screams weekend-wonderful vibes to me. Why? Because it’s comfy and practical (these boots are so warm and comfy!), but chic enough for a photo op. Okay, now to the pics + style tips. Happy scrolling!

{ Style Tips }

1. Attract opposites. Pair girly pieces (like a sweater with a ruffle trim or pearl jewelry) with more masculine styles (like combat boots or boyfriend-style cardigan) to balance out the look. I’m a girly girl at heart so tend to gravitate towards the dainty details, but like to add edge to really play off the frills.

2. Two sweaters are warmer than one. As much as I want to be warm, I kind of hate big bulky jackets so opt to layer up and skip the winter coat when the weather permits (which is dwindling here in the Philly area) . The long–sleeve sweater plus this cool cardi is actually a combo I wore for a QVC segment and I liked it so much that I bought it for myself right after.

3. Tuck, scrunch, or roll. This time I opted to tuck the pants (Lilly Pulitzer travel jeans, I got gifted these when I toured the new location and are so incredibly comfy). Since then I’ve been rolling the pants to cuff above the boots.

4. Keep it creative with a unique accessory. I prefer to make a statement with my accessories. I’m also a vintage costume jewelry lover. This rope necklace with tassels has been the finishing touch to so many looks, it’s not even funny.
