Summer, it’s so nice of you to join us! Yup, it’s officially that season and I’m breaking out my warm-weather favorites. I am so thrilled that it’s finally the sunny season and I am so ready to wear those super-summery styles that have been patiently hanging in my closet.

For this look I channeled my inner girly girl (not hard to do) and went for it with this bright and bold print. We walked around Philly’s Old City section to snag the shots, but I sure did feel like I was on a tropical trip.  The outfit must have transported me! Another reason I’m fond of this look: it’s a romper, yes a romper. So I am pretty much wearing shorts but look a whole lot more dressed up, love that! Okay, now to the pics and styling tips. Happy scrolling!

1. Nude shoes are always a good idea. Bought this pair for a wedding and I’ve already been wearing them for so much more, clearly!

2. Go all the way. This romper is fun and a little loud so I opted for a bright bag. Why? Because it can keep up with this vibrant print. It’s summer, so it’s time to embrace bright hues and be carefree!

3. You’re never too old for a dragonfly hair pin. I adore beautiful hair clips. When everyone was into the bufferfly clips (circa 1998) I was drawn to dragon flies. Now that my hair is short I find myself reaching for pretty hair pins more often. I got this one at the Devon Horse show from an accessory designer and oddly enough, I was wearing this romper that day too!
