Okay December, I’m ready for ya. The weather here in the Philadelphia area has been a little all over the place. It was in the 70s one day last week, then the next there’s snow. Yesterday we snapped these during a was weirdly-warm spell. And then we packed it in because it began to pour, and we got the shots we needed.

This post is a little more picture heavy than usual. Hope you like and feel inspired to wear some faux fur in a jewel-toned hue. It made this look and may be one of my new favorite things. But is it the Dare To Wear item of the month? You’ll have to wait until next week to find out, unless I give a sneak peek on Instagram.

{Style Tips}

1. Is a wintery knit hiding your figure? A skinny belt does wonders for highlighting that waist of yours.

2. Position a pop of color near your face. This tip is for my ladies that are afraid of color. Position the color near your face and to draw the eye upward.

3. Wear evening accessories during the day. I absolutely love sporting little clutches that you’d normally save for an event or night out. They fit the essentials (cash, cards, phone, lip balm, extra earrings) and add femininity and glamour.

{DARE TO WEAR} a blog series dedicated to “dare to wear” the same thing three weeks in a row. If you’re gonna buy it, you better be able to wear it at least three ways, right? Each month a new item is featured and will be styled three ways over three weeks. Photos by Audrey Gallagher.
