This may be my favorite outfit post yet (love when that happens!!) and it’s showcasing one of my favorite trends that actually can make you look longer, the maxi skirt. I know some of you shorties out there may be thinking I’m crazy, saying maxis elongate, but they really really DO! I’m only 5’3 and man do I love when my photographer makes me look tall, but it’s not just the good photography that’s adding height to my frame. I also am wearing heels and have used a couple key styling tricks to make my stems appear longer. Scroll through the pics. My style tips on how to dress yourself to a new heights are below.

I hope you liked the pics. Now to the style tips wight he focus being how to look taller in a maxi skirt.

{Style Tips}

1. Opt for a high-waisted style. I’m a broken record with this tip, but it’s a really good one so remember it. If you’re on the short side a high-waisted skirt immediately elongates your lower half. It get’s better. It also clinches you at the waist. That’s how you prevent looking like a sack of potatoes when covered head-to-toe in flawy fabric.

2. The first tip leads to this.

2. Go monochromatic. All we short ladies (sorry to exclude my tall trendsetters) must have been told that we have to wear shirt hems to avoid looking like we’re drowning in clothes.
