This may just be my favorite outfit posts yet! It’s been about a year since I started this Dare to Wear series and started working with my photographer Audrey (her site is linked at the bottom of this post). This blog is almost four years old and now outfit posts have been a regular fixture one of those years. I’ll save my reminiscing for another post, when I round up all the looks from the last year. For now, let’s talk white denim! Yes, it’s after Labor Day and yes it’s a DO!
These jeans were not pricy and man do they look good. I snagged my pair a few years ago after a friend of mine told me how awesome they are for the price. Hey, cool white jeans are hard to come by, especially when you’re looking for a deal. There’s a couple rhinestones on the pockets, but they really blend in. Besides, the ripped details steal the show anyway.
Style Tips
1. Make sure your makeup says autumn. A dark lip can really do wonders to transition a summer trend.
2. Add in texture. Fall is all about layering. Pair white jeans with a knit or flannel to play up the fall feel.
3. Dark hues are a do. Avoid looking like you’re a season behind by styling the jeans with a contrasting top. Try dark purple, midnight blue, hunter green, or oxblood red to compliment the white denim for the season.
