Nails! I love doing my nails! I love having them be a conversation starter, but not in a Lady GaGa crazy way. I still want to be able to function and pick up stuff … so fake nails are just not for me.
Here are some of my past manicures photographed on my Blackberry. I know, I know I need an iPhone. Then I’ll do mobile posts. In due time, in due time.
The Half Moon – paint the nails. Let dry, then use a contrasting color on the “moons” of your nail.
Tag: For the whole nail – Essie’s Shop Till I Drop , $3.00 at Max and Jill ( a local discount store) normally $8.00. For the moon Times Square Tangerine shade by New York Color, $1.00 at Walmart.
Polka-Dot Dream – polish the nails, let dry, add polka dots, dry, add top coat.
Tag: Essie’s Turquoise and Ciacos, $8.00.
For the white any drugstore brand will do as long as it’s thick, not pearly.
Take Note: Both of these designs were done freehand and were super simple. No special brushes were used.
