Winter 2012 is all about layering. Collarless coats are the perfect example of a twist for your top layer. They can be easily accessorized by adding a turtleneck or an infinity scarf to keep your neck toasty on those cold winter days.
I am obsessed with Rachel Zoe‘s take on it. The belt gives the coat texture and the sequin beret screams Paris glamour. The price is a little steep but she always gets it right!
Big-Budget Splurge

Skinny-Budget Steal
Old Navy has a great option if your wallet isn’t feeling daring. It’s almost identical to Rachel Zoe’s, minus her signature faux fur. I’m loving the winter white (so on trend!) and the endless color accessories that will make this coat look amazing. Perhaps a hot pink belt to add a pop of color? This skinny-budget pick will help you look fashionably warm without breaking the bank this winter.

Take Note: This sale-rack steal comes in hot pink too!!
