Cleaning your makeup brushes is one of those things we tend to overlook, but you’re using them daily… and on your face! You don’t need a fancy product to take care of your brushes, just some shampoo and a sink.
Great tip! As a makeup artist, I’m amazed of the dirty brushes and filthy compact sponges people use to apply and touch-up their makeup with! Neglecting to clean your brushes and/or replacing compact sponges: 1) decreases your chances of having a well blended true color application as old pigment remains, and 2) allows old pigment, dirt, sweat, bacteria, and sloughed off dead skin cells back on to your skin = yuck! = clogged pores = ‘textured skin’
