{Trend Hungry Tuesday} Statement Earrings on the Red Carpet

Two big awards shows right in a row? Ahh! There are just so many styles and celebrities to see. The MTV Video Music Awards were on Sunday. Monday was the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The gown choices alone are enough to keep us talking for days, let alone that hair, beauty and accessories. One trend I noticed stealing the show on both red carpets – statement earrings. Beyonce shined with jumbo-sized sparkers on her ear by Lorraine Schwartz as she walked the carpet on Sunday night. Then at the Emmys Heidi Klum (check out her Instagram pic)and Sofia Vergara donned the trend, and also wore Lorraine Schwartz. Christina Hendricks was another spotted with eye-catching earrings, wearing Neil Lane.

The celebs get to borrow jewels, very very expensive jewels for these grand events so they’re not even footing the bill for all that bling.
