It’s that time again, time to dare to wear the same thing as last week. Have you noticed which piece of clothing is on repeat? It’s the asymmetrical black top. Why? Because when I bought it a couple weeks ago I immediately wore it on repeat a few times that week alone (styled different ways, of course). That’s how I choose my dare-to-wear items every month. It’s usually something I’m already wearing again and again. Okay, now scroll through and then I’ll get to all the reasons why I love this outfit, including that fact that tying your shirt around your waist is my new fashion fix.
Style Tips
1. Tie it. Wearing a top that doesn’t quite lay how you’d like with with bottoms you’re wearing (can you tell I’m pulling this from real-life experience)? Tie a chambray or flannel shirt around the waist to keep top in place and adds a casual-cool vibe. It’ also comes in handy when you head into a building with the air conditioner on blast.
2. The faux bob, the new way to do messy-hair days (sorry top knot!). Pull hair into a low bun, keeping hair loose in front.
3. A look made up of neutrals allows you to to stand out, not the outfit. So, a little makeup done right can SO make the entire look. Bold brows frame the face and winged liner keeps eyes from disappearing in pictures.
