1. Burt’s Bees

Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm was one of the first beauty products I’ve ever owned. Such a classic product, right? I tried it when I was about 10 years old because loved the cute packaging. Little did I know how earth friendly their packaging actually is. Burt’s Bees packaging is designed conscientiously, by using post-consumer recycled content. Oh, and if you have a cute little furry friend, Burt’s Bees has a great pet care line.

Try: Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons for a full-coverage color that moisturizes your lips. It’s infused with Shea Butter, Kendi Oil, and Jojoba Oil. $9.00

2. Lush

I’m totally on a Lush binge. Lush is such a fun store to walk into and pass by. Whenever I’m shopping on Walnut Street, I can smell Lush before I see it. If I had a bath tub, I’d stock up on their bath bombs. Right now, I’m all over their Fresh Face Masks made with ingredients I can actually pronounce – fresh fruit, vegetables, butters, clays, and essential oils.

Try: Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask to exfoliate and remove dead skin that can clog your pores. $6.95

3. EVOLVh

EVOLVh’s mission is to help people look and feel great through hair products made from healthy ingredients. EVOLVh products are made from using 90% or higher organic ingredients, sulfate-free, paraben-free, and sodium chloride free. Oh, and they’re vegan.

Try: EVOLVh Ultrashine Moisture Conditioner to repair, restore, reduce frizz, and increase color retention. $25.00

4. Origins

Origins products are formulated with natural and certified ingredients and 100% natural essential oils. They even manufacture using a combination of renewable resources, wind energy, and Earth-friendly practices. Origins also launched a Plant-A-Tree program to help reforestation projects around the world and keep air and water clean.

Try: Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser, which has Panax Ginseng, caffeine, jojoba, and carnuba wax, to help your skin look and feel radiant. $19.50

5. Yes To

Doesn’t Yes To have super cute packaging? Yes To products are always at least 95% natural, free of parabens, petroleum, phthalates and SLS, and made with recyclable materials. This eco-friendly brand has seven different collections that cater to different skin concerns – carrots (normal-to-dry skin), cucumbers (sensitive skin), tomatoes (acne-prone), blueberries (wrinkles), grapefruit (uneven skin tone), coconut (very dry skin), and baby carrots (for babies and toddlers).

Try: Yes To Carrots Intense Repair Hand Cream if you have normal-to-dry skin. This hand cream is rich in Beta-Carotene, a natural form of Vitamin A. $8.99

I am such a huge fan of Lush. Right now I’m actually testing out their foundation. I was looking for an all natural foundation and there’s is an obvious choice. I’m on day two right now and so far so good! The real test will come when it’s a 90 degree day and I’m sweating my face off 😉 THEN we’ll see!

Lush is so amazing! I’ve never tried any of their makeup products, but I’ve seen so many great reviews about them. I agree, that plus some humidity would be the real test :).
