The 57th Annual Grammy Awards, aka the biggest night in music, had some highs and lows in the fashion front. Fox29’s Good Day Philadelphia invited me to be a part of their style panel and weigh in on the  most talked about looks of the night. Here’s who won and lost in my style book.

These looks made me scream love Love LOVE!!

{ Katy Perry in Zuhair Murad }

This look was ladylike, had the right amount of glam, gave us a little sexy with the sheer fabric, and the hair added a fun, trendy vibe that we know and love zero for. LOVE IT!!

{ Taylor Swift in Elie Saab }

At first I wasn’t sure, but the more I saw it, the more I fell in love. The ombré of the dress, the matching earrings, and the raspberry-hued shoes all work so well together. It’s a win in my book.

Ariana Grande in Versace }

Love this dress but didn’t love the energy she had it paired with. She seemed super nervous. I wish she would have just taken a breath and focused on how exciting it is, not scary, though I’m sure it’s crazy frightening to perform at the Grammys.

Gwen Stefani in Versace }

She always looks amazing and different from everyone else. Everything about this works. Gwen gets better with age and still holds onto her rocker-girl soul in her style.

Now to the looks that just didn’t quite work.

Rihanna in Giambattista Valli }

The little girl in me LOVES this, but overall it does nothing for her. Clearly Rihanna can pull off anything, but this dress is wearing her. It’s fun for playing dress up with Blue Ivy ( I kid, I mean it is couture)

{ Kim Kardashian West in Jean Paul Gaultier }

This is really beautiful for editorial, but not for the red carpet. The bedazzled bathrobe would have worked better on a taller girl in a magazine shoot. That plus her Instagram Beck diss puts her on my worst dressed. Sorry, I don’t like when people spread negativity.

{ Madonna in Givenchy }

Um, did you see this look from behind? If not, you won’t want to. She’s got a great body and doesn’t need a getup to grab attention, though her core fans seem to love it. As for her performance, she killed it! Madonna is SO so talented and I just prefer that she saves these risqué outfits for the stage.

 { Charli XCX in Moschino }

I wanna like it and would if it were styled s little differently. Ditch the fur. Swap in a sleeker shoe. Hem the pants and maybe try a topknot and bright lip. That’s how I envision it.
