I hear about lots of events and so am pretty select on the ones that I recommend and go to (there’s only so much time in a day). This one sounds SO good that I just have to share.
Clear your Sunday and tell your best girls to do the same. Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, with event experts Petah Bashano Event Design and Events by Renee, will host a special girls’ day out to celebrate the start of spring with a beauty and style event April 26th from 1-5 p.m. in its Lafayette and Girard Ballrooms.
I already know this event is going to be a blast as there will be new spring fashions from local retailers, free beauty services (think blow outs and makeup tutorials!), as well as complimentary cocktails from Art in the Age and new menu items from Red Owl Tavern. As if that’s not enough, Saks Fifth Avenue will be there too, showcasing the hottest spring styles with a live fashion presentation. Oh, and all guests will receive a VIP swag bag.
All that for only $25 a ticket (click to purchase). But wait there’s more. This event is also about giving back, so $5 of each ticket sale will go directly to the Philadelphia chapter of Dress for Success, the international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women.
Bring your gently used professional accessories that you’re ready to pay forward, the Hotel Monaco will also have an accessory drive at the event.
