Thanksgiving is tomorrow (can you believe it?!) so if you haven’t yet, it’s time to start brainstorming outfit ideas. For a day based around eating and family time the look should be comfortable, look like you put a little effort in (though not to much), and have some wiggle room – nothing too constricting for a fat food day followed by the sport of shopping. So I turned to the blog-o-sphere to take inspiration from some ladies with fabulous style, fashion bloggers.
Quilting & Prints
Chaucee of Streets & Stripes TopShop look is classy, fashion forward, and photo-op ready. It also is super on trend – oxblood lip and shoes, quilted top, and plaid pants. Ditch your heels under the dinner table.
Floral Dress for Fall
TFDiaries shows us that a dress can be done without being too uncomfortable. Opt for something that’s not too form fitting and if you feel the need for shoe height try a bootie with a wedge, much easier to walk around in.
Pop with Pleats
This look from SydneStyle makes colors and pleats seem easy. Try with knee-high boots for added leg warmth.
Sweater Dress, Yes!
Check out Mai Style Pages in this sweater dress and boots. It feels effortless and comfy, which are two big YES’s in our Thanksgiving style book.
Layered & Laughs
This look of moi from here on Trend Hungry is comprised of an old Charlotte Russe vest, long sweater from Jennifer Lopez at Kohls, Spanx riding pants (so comfy!), and smoking loafers from Target.
Ripped Jeans & Tailored Blazer
What Courtney Wore makes ripped jeans look polished thanks to the blazer and accessories. You may recognize this blogger form her new Bravo show Courtney Loves Dallas.
Stripes & Flats
Ashley Madekwe is not only on Revenge, but also the blogger behind Ring My Bell, and her style is on point for Thanksgiving.
