Ponytails have started trickling onto the red carpet. And now that the Queen B herself has dubbed it fabulous at one of the biggest nights in fashion, well it has at least blown my mind.
Early this year Reese Witherspoon sported a low pony to the Golden Globes and she wasn’t the only A lister with her hair pulled back in this simple style. Emma Stone and Katie Holmes both opted for ponytails instead of elaborate undos. J.Lo also rocked this hairstyle to a major event, the Oscars.
High or low, anything goes. The best part, it won’t cost you much or require sick hairstyling skills.
Gather hair and fasten with a hair tie. Then separate a small section fro underneath and use to wrap around the hair tie. Keep wrapping, then use a bobby pin to secure the hair at the base of the ponytail.
