I love me some color. I also adore neutrals too. The two work so well together, especially when it comes to workwear. You want to look serious and stylish. My trick, use neutrals to tone down loud pieces, hence my vest and shoe choice.

{ Style Tips }

1. Dare to wear hot hues. They have a way of brightening up your face and overall look.

2. Use a vest to tone down a loud dress. This tip was the whole reason why I thought of featuring this vest for a second month (you’ll be seeing more of it this month and it was February’s “Dare to Wear” item). This vest helps reel in the boldness of the print and also has pockets (love pockets!).

3. Never go wrong with neutral shoes. Statement shoes go great with jeans and tee or little black dress. What I tend to opt for most in my footwear are my neutrals.

Dare To Wear } a blog series dedicated to “dare to wear” the same thing three weeks in a row. If you’re gonna buy it, you better be able to wear it at least three ways, right? Each month a new item is featured and will be styled three ways throughout the month. Photos by Audrey Gallagher.
