{ Photo Diary } Almay’s #SimplyAmerican Tour Bus Visits Philly

This Independence Day I hopped on the Almay #SimplyAmerican tour bus for some pampering on the Parkway. I love my city. Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway turned into one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations in the country called Wawa Welcome America. The all-day extravaganza, complete with music and food, was a pretty fun way to spend the holiday despite the weather being less than stellar. Thanks to Almay I was able to take refuge from the rain and get a little makeover.

The tour bus is pimped out with perfect lighting, expert makeup artists, and of course tons of beauty products! I’ve been an Almay fan for as long as I can remember (their eye makeup remover pads are a must in my beauty bag!) so was excited to learn that their makeup is hypoallergenic and that the Smart Shade makeup is specially formulated to create a color that works best with your tone, pretty cool!

My boyfriend helped me capture the day as my date / photographer and there was lots to take in. Complimentary makeovers, free all-American refreshments on their relaxing deck, a photo booth and kissing booth were just some of the fun things to do.
