This holiday season we’re obsessed with high shine and sparkle! Stars like Taylor Swift  rocked the trend without looking like a member of the ice capades this past Sunday at the The American Music Awards. We got to see style choices of our favorites in the music industry, past and present. Of course, not  everyone’s red carpet look was fortunate enough to crack our top list.

Obviously, we were wowed by T-Swizzle’s  beautiful nude dress with gold sequin embellishments, a slicked-back bun, and perfectly matching shoes,  giving her a glamorous look while incorporating holiday shine. Hayden Penettiere, the star of Nashville sparkled effortlessly, wearing a short silver dress, perfectly done with just enough shine.

We know that at most holiday parties, ball gowns are not part of the dress code, but if they were please direct your attention to the flawless Carrie Underwood. Her beautiful deep purple, sparkly gown looked beautiful walking down the red carpet. We’ve learned from the stars that a little sparkle goes a long way. Just make sure it’s done right and you don’t end up looking like a disco ball. With such focus on the dress, heavy makeup and jewelry are not necessary. But for those of us who are a little weary about dedicating our entire outfit to glitter and shine, try out some accessories!

Embellished blazers are a must-have item and give you a little pop to the traditional look.  Everyone loves a sparkly heel. Why not draw some head-to-toe attention and give some glam shinny heels a try  – or flats for those of us who are less graceful. Everyone needs a bag to have by their side during the numerous trips to see family and friends. Make yours stand out. Bags with sequins and beads are being spotted everywhere, make sure you get your hands on one and pair with jeans and tee to glam up your daytime style!
